Who are Dawson Insurance Brokers?
Dawson Insurance is an independent professional firm of insurance brokers which was established in 1981 by Ian Dawson, originally as Barker Dawson. The Company has grown through the acquisition of smaller brokerage agencies and the employment of experienced insurance brokers – John Sexton, Rob Harvey, Alistair Davidson, Denis Marriner and Peter Mahar.
The Directors and Brokers of Dawson Insurance Brokers are members of Brokernet NZ and the Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand (IBANZ). This means we are governed by a code a conduct that ensures independence, financial stability and professional responsibility. The Directors and Brokers of Dawson Insurance are also Qualified Practising Insurance Brokers (QPIB). The QPIB qualification is only conferred if specified industry experience and ongoing professional education criteria continue to be met.
